The Beaverton production facility welcomes meal-delivery company to prime location

NRDG is proud to welcome Silver Chef, a homestyle-meals producer, to their new fully-equipped commercial kitchen at the Alyeska Building. The former retail property was completely renovated in 2015, creating two individual production spaces. The Alyeska Building is located in a prime area of suburban Beaverton, just off Highway 217, with easy access to downtown Portland, preferred grocers and vendors, as well as popular distribution outlets and restaurants.

Silver Chef ( is an innovative company that provides subscription-based daily-delivery meal plans for senior citizens. Each meal is well balanced and healthy, and attentively designed by a dietician to meet the nutritional and dietary needs of seniors. With production locations in southern California, and Vancouver, Washington, Silver Chef’s new Beaverton home allows them to provide perfectly-portioned plates of chef-prepared, nutrient-dense meals to seniors in Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Northwest Portland. Silver Chef understands that eating well is just one component of healthy senior living, so that’s why they have partnered with Holiday Retirement, a leading provider of independent senior living communities nationwide.

Located in Beaverton’s Vose neighborhoods, the Alyeska Building kitchens are in the core Beaverton business district. In addition to commercial-grade food-production equipment (including an 8’x8’ walk-in cooler, range, convection oven, 10’ hood, and deep fryer), these kitchens also feature flex space for product prep and packaging. Convenient on-site parking and the Hwy-217-adjacent location make these kitchens ideal for efficient distribution and delivery to the greater Portland area.
